Learning Drums Online or In-Studio – Which Is Best?

These days it’s easier to reach students all over the world through Social Media platforms and Streaming Platforms. It’s not a question of good or bad when it comes to Online or In-Studio learning. It depends on which is best for the individual and where they would like to study. Online Drum Lessons has become the norm in the 2000s, and is only growing by the year. However there are pros and cons to both Online and In-Studio Drum Lessons.

For Online drum lessons, the con is, you dont get the real experience of being there in person, which is a whole different animal. The pro is, you have access and can reach more students from all over the world who cannot physically be there in person. With In-Studio drum lessons, you have the ability to be there live experiencing the instructor in person. on the flip side, you’re only subject to the local area in which you reside.

If you prefer an instructor that lives on the other side of the world, then Online Drum Lessons is the obvious choice. If you live in an area where you can access locally the instructor of choice, then you do not have to worry about online, and you can go In-Studio. In most cases, In-Studio is better face-to-face with your instructor. There are many psychological reasons behind this, but we’re not going to get into that.

Cheers!
